Every round of 5.56 increases suppressor temperature by almost 10°F. High heat over time accelerates wear on any suppressor cover. To extend cover life and speed up suppressor cooldown, remove it after 90+ rounds. These are rugged, replaceable precision shooting suppressor cover options built to perform when it counts – not permanent gear.
Although components of the cover are rated up to 1800°F, overall expectation of continuous 1000°F resistance is realistic.
